Alessandro Oggioni
Growing up in the shadow of the Italian Alps, Alessandro has always been fascinated by the natural world and its inhabitants. He started to take pictures at an early age, first around the mountains near his home, and later travelling abroad looking for other places that still preserve a sense of wilderness.
With a background in biology, he tries to combine his knowledge about nature with an artistic vision, trying to portray the natural world in a holistic approach, from wide landscapes to small elements and details of Nature.
His pictures have been published in magazines and books, and he has presented various conferences in Italy and the Netherlands. His photographs have been awarded in various international competitions, including Wildlife Photographer Of The Year, Glanzlichter, Environmental Photographer Of The Year, and Outdoor Photographer Of The Year.
